I plan to jump in on this debate but not quite the way you think I will. Let me start by saying I am personally a product of public schooling. We can argue whether or not my school adequately prepared me for life, but I would like to think that most people would point to me and say, he did alright.
I cannot stand debt. There is no doubt about it I cannot stand it. I personally think that having debt controls you to the point that you can’t live the best kind of life you can live.
I know me telling you not to worry about dying tomorrow is not going to make you stop worrying about dying tomorrow. However, when it comes to making the social security decision, I hope you worry more about living for a long time.
You should think about your future a lot. If you are only thinking one day out, you have already lost. This game of life is like chess, not checkers. You should be thinking about where you want to be financially, physically, and mentally, constantly.

A starter mentor can be a forever mentor – you just have to get a mentor. What they are telling you isn’t Gospel, but they should be pointing you in the right direction. Do the best you can to qualify them, and as you start to listen to them, you should find that you are finally seeing results.
Whatever standard you hold yourself to is what you will achieve. Whatever your family sees you doing, they will start to follow you. And the reason why they will begin to follow you is that they will start to see the positive results of your actions.
What if you started living your life as if you made a career change to a lesser paying job and started investing the difference? You literally could save up enough money to pay yourself the difference in pay or you can you use that extra money to give yourself a pay increase. You don’t have to beg someone for the pay increase – you can give it to yourself.
You may be asking yourself “Isn’t the Financial Effect about Finances? Wealth?” You know why I keep bringing up health? Because health is wealth.
